Little Death @ The Proud Galleries

I think I first saw Little DEath at the previous incarnation of the Proud Galleries. It was a poor venue, with poor sound, no lights at all and extortionate bar prices. The new Proud Galleries is superficially attractive and a lot of money has been spent, but essentially it still has bad sound and extortionate bar prices. It now has a good set of lights , but for some reason they are used to light the feet of the band. Overall an awful venue.
It's good to see Little Death again, but photos are disappointing as their shoes are not even pointed. I decide an early night is a good idea and go home.
Little Death @ The Mother Bar

A last minute gig from Little Death. Not only am I free, but so's the gig.
Rather a strange place, most expensive draft beer I've had in London (most places that rip you off on the beer only sell minute bottles specially imported from Finland - ooh meant to write that bit on a previous night). And some of the clientele look decidedly young, like its the school holidays and they can stay out late; maybe I'm just old.
Its really nice to see Little Death again and their performance is very enjoyable. I would love to see them in a venue with lights though.
The youthful audience is explained when the next band (whose name I didn't hear) take the stage. They are some of the youth in the audience; they look very young (I wouldn't sell them alcohol without id) but play well. I think the vocals let them down and I'm not too sure about the consistency of their songs, but the best bits were good; quite a lot of potential.
As Little Death had chosen to play at ten, the evening was very relaxing with no rushing around, but home soon after midnight. Being out 5 days running has however taken its toll and I struggle to get up and do battle with the rain.
Little Death @ the Windmill

I though I wrote a comment here about how nice it was to see and chat to Little Death, what a pleasant venue the Windmill is and how Fight Like Apes were great fun. I don't know what happened to it, it seems it didn't appear :-(
Little Death @ The Old Blue Last

Still feeling a little tired after the rocklands party. But decided that I would not be defeated by Transport for London closing both the tubes that I need to get to the Old Blue Last. There's something traditional about gigs at the Old Blue Last; they are usually hot and sweaty and have fairly no-nonsense lights. It was worth the effort and I enjoyed Little Death much more than the last time a saw them.
Little Death @ Proud Galleries

This was as close as wildblanket got to the Camden Crawl. Apparently we didn't miss Pete Docherty because he didn't play. According to London Lite he had been going to join the main band but was too tired to turn up. Well if he had we'd have missed him, as we got an early night after enjoying Little Death.
