A couple of days at home at home was useful but gruelling. I have put up pictures of 14 bands by the end of yesterday. So it's nice and relaxing to pop out to the Bull and Gate. It's some sort of competition. Frankly band competitions do not greatly impress me. It's like wine competitions, there is nothing really to win and quite a lot of face to lose. The best you can hope for is to be able to able to add a logo to your myspace. Will anyone be impressed by that? No, not really, promoters (and record companies) are impressed by people you can through the door.
Tonight a band called Ill 'a' noize seem to know how to get people through the door. I think they do have some edge. I took a few pitures and will look at their myspace.

Kaitee Page seems to be strangley dressed (she has been on a brief American tour and maybe her outfit would be cool there, in Camden we don't dress like that). There seem less violin songs in the set and this is, at least superficially, confirmed by my pictures. Pity, I like the double violin bits best.
