Ghostcat + Reverse Engineering @ Bull & Gate

Ghostcat have quickly become one of my favourite bands. Their songs are great, they do a lively stage show and they say hello.

Not only that but they seem to have a knack of being on the bill with other enjoyable bands. Last night the first band were Italian electro band 'Reverse Engineering' who I enjoyed.

Unusually for a London venue, the lighting man actually lit the bands. I was so moved by this rare occasion that I personally complimented him on his work, and I reitterate my thanks here.

Ghostcat @ Old Blue Last

An excellent evening promoted by Shout! A good bill of quality bands. Although I went to see Ghostcat (who were excellent) I thought Florence and the Machine were much more animated when I saw them up the road in Hoxton Square. This is an intimate venue with LIGHTS. The lights are hot so everything (particularly the bands) gets hot and sweaty. The ambience is also helped by the availability of draft beers.

Full Line-up: Neave, Florence & the Machine, Ghostcat, Go Faster, L R Rockets

Trademark @ Catch

An excellent evening in an intimate venue. I arrived in time to catch Ghostcat who gave a good show to a small but growing crowd. I don't know much about music, I just take photos, but I enjoyed their set and will see them again. The lights at catch are challeging to the point of nonexistant, but for Ghostcat there was a little light coming from a video light on the bar.

Trademark have their own lights and do an excellent show. My main purpose of the evening was to purchase Trademark's CD, after enjoying their gig (supporting Soho Dolls) at the underworld. This I achieved, so will be able to spend easter listening to Trademark.
