Green Drummers at the Klinker II
A real green drummers gig rehearsed the same day(as usual, sigh) with Matteo as Doctor Sick, playing PT30 and Green Drummers wearing the same period dress as the Squatt gig, but without the original crinoline which had been eaten by rats, so the dress could not be as wide unfortunately.
The set list started with Jargon de la france which was played with not much enthousiasm(Don't know the words!) followed by Not in Love, the never ever finished song(maybe the story inside the song has not been sorted with the people concerned) and Frere Jacques, a new song from a french Comtine was played, to the amazement of Swan. Included varied bits of people with their traits and people they wished to marry, like Brenda.
The PT30 set with Doctor Sick included a new song, la ve en Ose, covered from edith piaff.
Many people turned up and even Pablo Paolo who brought us some nice vinegar to drink , from Italy. It was a great gig and a very confident Green Drummers felt the stage had become her home... It does a lot of good to do 3 gigs in a week...Now we need 3 days to recuperate... Thanks to Sean to come all the way from Australia to see us.
ANd to everyone else who turned up! We love you all! (well, I do, I havent asked Aria guitar who in fact played a new song if she loved you too but I can hear her shouting that she does, so take her love as well)
We love you (them) all! DOGWELL!
