Greendrummers @ Klinker South

Our first visit to the Klinker South in Nunhead. We arrived a little early to find a deserted pub (apart from two regulars giving the hostelry "atmosphere" by chain smoking). Unfortunately there had been a run on Cheese and Onion crisps (sold out) and there was no decent beer (no demand ?). Not entirely welcoming , very "Fistful of Traveller's Cheques"; Things soon warmed up. The main band for the evening (Plakka) arrived in a flurry of bits of drum kit - unfortunately not all the bits they needed - no snare drum or pedal.

The start of the evening's entertainment was delayed by some ritual which involved several people taking it in turns to hit  a box on the wall with a stick (some sort of noise limiter that was turning off the PA). Fortunately Greendrummers have experienced pa problems before, so had come equipped with a suitable monitor.

So the show began.... Dressed

Plakka overcame a number of technical problems to deliver a fine show.
