A last minute gig to see Gravanzia, an established band from North London, who was playing in the Barden's boudoir in Dalston.
A strange venue not easy to find, underneath a big superstore shop thing.
The doorman seemed to think the music was so loud that the door was to be shut everytime someone goes in so it can save his ears.
This was a special evening for the venue and they offered sweets displayed on plastic plates and free cava foaming wine.
Gravanzia, whom we hadn't gone to see before, with great Drummer Darran from Scar Studios, are a kind of punk-spoken band with kyboards, guitars, and 2 lead singers. They are uninhibited in their play, and the last song particularly caught our attention, about 13 minutes long, with band members jumping all over the place, it was a delight to see and makes a change to the stuck up bands who are worried of "what will people say..." and was a very inspiring show to watch! We will be back!

The next band, coming straight from Brighton, had a very very energetic drummer who played like a lion in a cage, and a lead singer who was on the side and singing with his head on the side, and down lik eif he was hiding. Energetic music , but muchless unusual than Gravanzia.
