We Are Invasion - Hoxton

Our first visit to the Hoxton Kitchen. Reasonable size venue with a good size stage. Lighting is also good, but stangely the lead singer's microphone is positioned somewhere in the dark shadows. It looks like the lights were set up for the main band whose name I didn't note. The venue do have a strange policy of only doing draught Red Stripe in the room where the bands play, but you can pass out to the main bar to get a wider choice of dull lagers and stouts.

We Are Invasion played a good lively set, and got a good response from the Hoxton crowd. I'm not sure it quite reached dancing but there was some heavy twitching.
