George Pringle @ Pop
A nice little venue, centrally located. Previously we enjoyed Smatka here. This gig is free, it is however an accoustic evening (apart from Ms Pringle). Whilst what I saw of the accoustics was perfectly fine, I have to admit that the gendre leaves me cold. The audience were very polite and the artists were very polite. Well its better than going to an arena gig but then reading a book is more exciting than a stadium gig.
So anyway arriving late meant Ms Pringle was already underway when I got there, but don't worry I soon whipped out my camera to bring you pictures. There seemed to be several photographers with large constructions on top of their cameras, presumably to provide some sort of flash for their pictures. We don't like flash. This is what George Pringle looked like at the gig. You will notice the centre of the light falls somewhere around her middrift. I can reveal that this mislighting occurs because the accustics do not stand up, presumably to avoid the crowd becoming excited. I did see someone moving their foot during the accustic set, but I think they may have been heading for the toilet.
In the context of the other bands George Pringle stands out (and stands up). It would be interesting to see her on the bill with interesting bands. She should play the Klinker.
