Kaitee Paige @ Half Moon, Putney

The Half Moon in Putney is a pleasant venue, it's a bit off the beaten track (well its just south of the river). It offers a decent (and cheapish) pint of Young's bitter. There are lights although they were strangely positioned and somehow it seems traditional that anyone accoustic should have to play in semi-darkness; maybe to allow the audience to doze off.

Monday night's is billed as a showcase, which means that bands are only allowed to play 3 songs. To travel to see one band play only 3 songs doen't make much sense, so most of the people appear to either regulars or close friends and family of the bands.

I ventured down on a bit of a whim.
