Little Fish @ The Barfly

Its an early start at the Barfly with Little Fish on at 8.30. It can be a lonely task playing first at the Barfly; often a band will have travelled here to play in front of a couple of tourists and maybe a girlfriend - the cool people of Camden rarely venture out before 9 and the coolist will still be choosing their evening wear at 10. The word about Little Fish is spreading fast, and a fair number of people have braved the unfashionable hour to see another splendid performance from the duo. Whilst obviously I'm too cool to turn up often to see bands before 9, I may have occasionally been confused and arrived in time to see the first band- so you can believe me when I say that this is definitely an abnormally sizable and appreciative crowd. They will surely be invited back to play a later slot at the Barfly.

The nice thing about playing early is that there's plenty of time ater the band have played to relax and chat, and maybe have a drink. I ended up on the last tube.
