Rubella @ The Enterprise

Most of Rubella are bouncing around before they play. They are exuberant and a little nervous; this is their second gig. I happened upon their first a couple of weeks ago and found them entertaining. Tonight I discover they are friendly and pleasant to talk to. On stage they try to be fierce and punky. As they are dressed as Guns and Roses (because they are going on to 80s party) it is difficult for them (and the audience) not to smile.
They include a couple of covers which I vaguely recognise (easier as they announce them as covers): Zombie by the Cranberries which is a fairly straight cover. 'I Kissed A Girl' by Katy Perry is adapted somewhat and not suitable for your parents - maybe the original wasn't suitable for your parents either !
