Kaputt are on at 12.30, which is a bit late. As they have told me in advance I decide on the car rather than night bus. Many years on Koko still brings back memories of gigs I saw there when it was the Music Machine. It’s changed and I wouldn’t have got my camera in without a pass tonight. Fortunately Kaputt have organised one; this is particularly generous when I have only photographed them once before. It is good to meet photographer Daniel Miller there. Our paths have crossed several times this year, but recently he has been ill. Apparently he has known Kaputt for 4 years. They are a good band and do a good show.

I took a few pics of the support band, a rapper called Kenan Bell. When I sent him a note telling him I'd posted a few pics, this is the reply I got:

I've had it translated by someone young, and apparently he likes them.
