Dead Pixels @ 93 Feet East

I had planned to see Anna Calvi at the Notting Hill Arts Club tonight, but she is sick and cancels the gig around lunchtime. I haven't anything else in my diary for tonightso I am checking some myspaces for future gis when Dead Pixels caught my eye on someone's myspace. They ring a bell and I go for a listen, then I notice they are playing 93 feet east tonight. Its a bit of a rush as they are not headlining, but it seems a good idea to get out of the house after a couple of days snowbound. I arrive with a couple of minutes to spare. There I find photographer Daniel Miller and remember that was why Dead Pixels seemed a familar name. He has been photographing them for a while. They turn out to be good and I am pleased I made the effort to rush down here. It's also nice to compare notes with Daniel who has been rather ill and it's good to find him much recovered.
