Tonight is Exotica's first gig. The set is short and intense like a perfect expresso. From those who know the band and especially from those of us who have been priviledged to hear snippets of rehearsals, there is an air of excitement and anticipation - the coffee machine is genly ouzing steam. From nowhere a cacophony of instruments swells into an sonic overture and the coffee hits the tongue.
