No. 5 - The Scream - Siouxsie & the Banshees released November 1978
Another LP that I bought on the day it came out. It was a long wait, listening to the John Peel session recorded a year earlier. I saw them play at the 100 Club on valentines Day 1978 and several times afterwards. The album was originally scheduled for release earlier in the year but was delayed due to the success of Saturday Night Fever which was using all the capacity of Polydor's pressing plant.
It has been pointed out to me that (by strange coincidence) it is exactly 35 years today since the album was released.
