It is difficult to say whether the appalling lights which obscured the band were incompetence or deliberate 'taking the piss'. They bore no resemblance to what the band requested. Can a professional lighting man be that incompetent ? Well the boy bands were lit better but no better than bad; not being able to see the drummer at all, suggests a lack of interest in being able to see the performance. And when (all) the bands were at the peak of action on the stage they were further obscured by flashing lights, which personally I think an insult to the bands whose sweat and blood is largely obscured. Incompetence or Misogyny ?
