Subdivine - Camden Barfly 13th August
This gig was the last one of 3 successive gigs we had gone to since the friday... I was pretty knackered by I got there and had this kind of "seen it all cant be asked" mind frame...Except I was looking forward to see Subdivine once again to make sure they were as good as I remembered them.
They played in the middle and the Barfly on a sunday night is usually quiet. After some discussion with Simona who was insisting to pay us back the entrance fee as we paid to enter the venue and us insisting because it feels good to support bands, (Simona works there) we eventually got upstairs and saw a good band ( I think they were good or am I mistaking) anyway I dont remember their names so it doesn't matter.
Subdivine played and their set was very energetic, the lighting was good, and the songs superb, even though I got worried at some point about the singer who seemed to struggle with his voice... Ah the eternal nightmare of the vocalists...
I was all perked up after seeing them and got a free Tshirt from Paolo (2) to thank us for doing all those photos. A band who is very grateful to Wildblanket. It makes us very eager to see them again!
Marina, their manager, insisted we should come to their ULU gig and video the set for them.
To be continued...
