I came across Anto Dust in the summer at a Belle Phoenix gig. I thought she was animated and pretty so I facebook friended her before I discovered that is relatively famous, having been connected with Carl Barat and thus Pete Doherty. That is by the way, but she certainly knows a lot of Camden people, so tonight's single launch is well attended and several people join her on stage. Acoustic singer/songwriters are not always my cut of tea, partly because many are very ordinary and partly because people just talk (sometimes the two are related but not always). Accoustic artists who can overcome both obstacles camn win my loyalty. It's a very pleasant eventing and even the lights are good. Anto Dust (and her friends) win the Wildblanket seal of approval.
